Crisis simulation scenarios
Each scenario is a complete world: an organisation, its people, a website, a news agenda, journalists, stakeholders and branching consequences.
Corporate crisis: a leaked clinical trial memo
A listed biotech's lead cancer medicine is in a Phase III trial when an anonymous account posts what appears to be an internal memo suggesting serious side effects were reclassified. The share price falls, journalists demand answers within minutes, staff learn about it on social media, an analyst asks whether the board knew, and the regulator requests records. It tests disclosure, fact-finding, investor and regulator relations, internal communications and media handling.
Private client crisis: a resurfaced photograph
A global music star's offensive photograph from years ago resurfaces a week before a major fragrance launch. Brand partners wobble, a former stylist offers to talk, fans and critics flood the comments and the Sunday papers circle. It tests handling the principal, apology, brand partners, legal risk and social media.
Political crisis: a deepfake before polling day
Two days before an election, an audio clip of the frontrunner goes viral. It appears to be fake, but a real undeclared dinner is about to surface at the same time. It tests verification, not overclaiming, electoral compliance and separating what is false from what is true.
Government crisis: counter-disinformation
An explosion at a chemical plant is exploited by a hostile state through a troll farm, state television and a hack-and-leak operation, while a British national is detained abroad. The first alerts arrive the way they would in reality: through calls, group chats and monitoring, before the news. It tests attribution, cross-government coordination, working with allies and correcting false claims quickly.
Custom scenarios
Scenarios can be built around a specific organisation's risks: a cyber attack, product recall, executive misconduct, data breach, activist campaign or anything else your team needs to rehearse.
See it run on your own crisis
We run a live demo with your team: a real scenario, your organisation's name, and stakeholders who answer back in real time.
